Port Charlotte, FL- Deputies are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who took the bread delivery for a Port Charlotte sub shop early Tuesday morning.
At about 7:20 am Tuesday, Sam’s Subs and Soups Shop, located at 21320 Gertrude Avenue in Port Charlotte, received its normal daily delivery of bread items from its supplier. When the business owner arrived and took stock of the delivery, he found that four bags of bread products were missing.
After the delivery company assured him that all the products had been delivered, the owner checked with a neighboring business and found video that showed a white female walking up to his business at about 7:38 am and taking four bags of bread.
The attached photo is from the surveillance video, which the business owner posted to the business’s Facebook page.
Anyone with information on the identity of the woman in the photo is asked to please call the Sheriff’s Office at (941) 639-2101, or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
