[smile] I read this and feel this is a total over-reaction. People are always so reactive and quick to blame; I train at LA Fitness and midriffs are on show all the time. If one is truly committed to fitness, it makes no difference because your focus is on working out. I am with Linda on this one-this is ridiculous. Unless, it says specifically NO MIDRIFF then Linda is warranted. By the way, Linda great body-keep it up!

My wife ran into the same issue at the same club about a year and a half ago. Funny part is when we signed up, she was wearing the same clothing that the employee approached her wiht. Wasn't an issue when they were collecting money, but became one a few weeks into membership. We quit and encourage others to find a different gym.

Of course she's going to sue. Of course. If she was so worried about her character being defamed she wouldn't have trotted off to the media with her story and her fake sad face. Shameful.

Not surprising. I had my membership revoked from YouFit after the assistant manager claimed I grunted during a lift. It was actually a man next to me that was grunting and not me. The assistant manager claimed he heard me 1/2 way across the gym. I explained he heard someone but not me, he refused to accept my explanation and terminated my membership and that of my female gym partner who came to my aid and also told him that I was not grunting.

We also had problems at YouFit in the past. My female gym partner was wearing a tank top which they claimed was too reveling. They made her put a t-shirt over the tank top claiming she was violating their policy.

We are now both members of Crunch. Have been so for over a year. No issues and no harassment by the staff. To us the people at YouFit have no idea how to run a gym. We would never be members there again.
