BRADENTON, FL-  Two suspects picked the wrong man to rob after the victim fights back, causing the suspects to flee.

It happened early Sunday morning at Shell Gas Station at the 800-block of US 301 Blvd E., in Bradenton. According to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report the victim, Steve Rebel, who drives a fuel tanker pulled up to the gas station to drop off gasoline.  He began hooking up his hoses to the stations tanks when two suspects approached him.

One suspect pointed a semi automatic gun in his face.  The suspect then demanded that Reble give him his watch.  Rebel yelled at the suspect and tried to grab the gun from him.  The suspect then pulled the gun back and swung it at Rebel striking him in the hand.

Both suspects then fled the scene.  Rebel suffered a small cut on his hand.  Anyone with information is urged to contact the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
