Bradenton, FL- A Bradenton man was taken to the hospital after deputies say he was robbed and shot in the hand.

It happened Sunday night just after 10 p.m. at the 300 block of 60th Avenue East.  According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, Kyow Desir was walking towards his friends house when he was approached by two men carrying a gun. Desir attempted to grab the gun, when it went off hitting his left hand.

All three men ran in separate directions, and Desir went to the hospital for treatment.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
