BRADENTON, Fla. - Authorities say a Bradenton man leaving a Walmart store was robbed of his clothes and belongings, and had his car stolen at gunpoint Monday night.

It happened at the Walmart on 53rd Avenue East off U.S. 301 at around 11:30pm.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, the victim was leaving the store when he was approached by a Hispanic woman who was asking directions.  When the victim approached the woman's car, he was grabbed by 2 Hispanic men who forced him into her car.  The suspects were armed with assault rifles.

The suspects then drove across the street behind a Sam's Club store.  The victim was then kicked out of the vehicle and stripped of his clothing before the suspects drove away.  The victim was struck in the back of the head with the firearm before the suspects drove off, taking the victims clothing, wallet and vehicle.

The victim’s car was later located abandoned in the 3100 block of 34th Ave. Dr. East. The investigation continues.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
