Bradenton man arrested for armed robbery of Metro PCS store

MANATEE COUNTY - A Bradenton man was charged Thursday by the Bradenton Police Department for the armed robbery of a Metro PCS store.

According to Bradenton police, around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, a man entered a Metro PCS store located at 2412 Manatee Avenue East where he displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a black 4-door Hyundai, according to police. No injuries were reported during the robbery.

On Thursday, Aug. 25, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office located the suspect's vehicle and initiated a traffic stop that ended in a vehicle pursuit. The driver of the vehicle was 20-year-old Bradenton resident, Timmothy Fulton.

Fulton was arrested by MCSO deputies for several traffic related charges. While in custody, Fulton was identified by the victim and witnesses of the robbery as the man who robbed the Metro PCS store. He was charged by Bradenton PD with armed robbery.
