Bradenton man accused of shooting man in front of his house

UPDATE: Lens Toussaint turned himself into Bradenton Police at around 10:30pm Thursday.  He has been charged with Attempted Felony Murder, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling.

He denies all allegations.

BRADENTON, Fla. -- Police are looking for a man they say fired several shots at another man Wednesday, striking him once.

22-year-old Lens Toussaint is wanted for Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Bradenton Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say that just after 6pm Wednesday, Toussaint was loitering in the area of the 1400 block of 17th Street Circle East when he approached some children that were playing with a man.  The man yelled at Toussaint, who immediately left but returned and approached the man's residence with a handgun.

Toussaint reportedly fired several shots at the man, hitting him once and the residence several times, and then fled the area.

The victim was transported to Blake Medical Center for treatment.
