SARASOTA - There were some tense moments in downtown Sarasota early Monday morning, as the bomb squad was called in after a suspicious package was found.

The call came into police just after 1 am.

The package was found outside of the Quick Stop. Streets around Orange Avenue and Fruitville Road were blocked off.

After suiting up in protective gear and moving in, officers found someone's personal belongings and food.
