SARASOTA COUNTY - Red tide is having an impact on area beaches.  The latest beach report from Mote Marine is showing moderate respiratory irritations with some dead fish visible at Manasota Beach Monday.

Elsewhere, slight respiratory irritation is being reported at area beaches north to Lido Key.

Some calls have come in to the ABC 7 News desk of many people coughing at Siesta Key Beach.
