Baby duck rescued from storm drain

SARASOTA - Some city of Sarasota employees come together to help rescue a baby duck.

Someone flagged down two Sarasota Police officers after seeing a family of ducks crossing U.S. 41 at Wisteria Place.

The baby duck got separated from the mother and fell into a storm drain. The officers got help from a city employee, Sarasota County Fire Station 8 and an animal service officer, making it a successful rescue.
