    Interesting article!

I am glad you mentioned the Boy Scouts of America and Eagle scouting. I had sent an email months ago to the Boy Scouts of America asking if there were any boy scouts from the Southgate section of Sarasota looking for an Eagle scout project. No one replied. :(

Would you know of a contact and I will resend my letter? Thanks in advance!

Also participating this morning was Cody Markley, member of Boy Scouts of America-Troop 14, was deploying the artificial reefs formations that he and several other scouts made during their Spring Break for his Eagle project. He, singlehandedly, raised enough money and gathered enough volunteers to produce 2 pallet, 3 bay, 1 layer cake, 3 juvenile structures, and 3 anchors. All of which he assisted in deploying this morning. I take great pride in knowing that my son is on the verge of becoming an Eagle Scout thanks to the hard work in planning and leading his troop in taking part of preserving our estuaries.
