SUNCOAST - Here is a look at some of the events around the Suncoast on Sunday to honor our veterans.

Sarasota will honor them with an annual parade down Main Street beginning at 10 am, followed by a ceremony with Tuskegee Airman George Hardy at 11.

At the same time at Venice's Patriots Park, a tribute to veterans and our fallen heroes will begin.

In Punta Gorda, a ceremony called "A Day of Honor" will take place at 11 am in Laishley Park.

At 11:30 am, the Bridge Street Merchants will host a celebration and military flyover from MacDill Air Force Base. That's happening in Bradenton Beach.

At the Sarasota National Cemetery, a mass led by the bishop of the Diocese of Venice will take place at 3 pm. The cemetery is on State Road 72, four miles east of Interstate 75.
