BRADENTON - An arrest is made in a stolen vehicle pursuit, but another suspect is still on the loose in Bradenton.

A Manatee County deputy spotted the stolen vehicle in the area of 53rd Avenue East and 15th Street East around 1:30 am Thursday.

A traffic stop was made, but the suspects took off in the vehicle driving about 70 miles per hour. They eventually crashed into a tree at Whitfield Avenue and 15th Street East.

The passenger, 18-year-old Juan Santos, was arrested. Investigators say he is a known gang member.

Authorities are still looking for the driver, who is said to be black male, about 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing all black and may go by the nickname "D."
