SARASOTA - Deputies are searching for a man they say fired shots at a Sarasota home during a violent argument Saturday night.

Authorities say 25-year-old Jerry Williams should be considered armed and dangerous.  He was last seen Saturday night in the 2500 block of Euclid Avenue.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, Williams pulled a gun on his girlfriend, pulled her hair, and threatened to shoot her.  Witnesses say he fired at least one round inside the house and several more outside.  No one was injured.

A deputy in the area heard the shots and saw Williams driving away from the scene.  Williams then reportedly tried to drive around the deputy but got stuck in a culvert.  He fled the vehicle on foot and could not be located.

Williams has a violent criminal history.  Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Criminal Investigations at (941) 861-4900 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers, (941) 366-TIPS or online,
