SARASOTA - Sarasota Police have made an arrest in the robbery of the CVS Store at 3709 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.
The robbery occurred on Sunday around 5:45 p.m.
The suspect, Tony Lynch, implied that he had a firearm, however no weapon was observed. He took cash and also the cash register drawer.
Following the robbery, he fled the scene in a white pickup truck. The pickup truck has had the bed removed and replaced with a flatbed.
Lynch was arrested early Monday morning.
