SARASOTA, Fla. -- Selfies may still be in, but apparently so are ‘dronies’.

Twitter has unveiled a new account dedicated to taking selfie videos with a drone. Tuesday, ABC 7 got in on the action.

Twitter reportedly started a new account called @dronie during an awards ceremony in the south of France on Sunday.

Using the hashtag #dronie, Twitter started sharing 6-second Vine videos of selfies taken by drones -- or "dronies."
