DUNEDIN, FL - Several homes have been evacuated in a Dunedin neighborhood after a sinkhole swallows part of a home.

This is the most recent in a series of such events in several counties near the Suncoast.

Why is that area more prone to these events compared to Sarasota and Manatee Counties?

ABC 7 Reporter John McQuiston is asking the experts and will bring you more on the story.
