First thought I have is being somewhat familiar with the area and an avid outdoors person is can these people arguing against this say truthfully and honestly that no one uses firearms on their properties? I bet that people do... Do they have any safety measure in place to protect their neighbors? If Rocky Creek Ranch were to have a 'range' with normal 'range' backstops they are safer than who knows who shooting on private (key word here is private) property without any safety measures in place. From what I have read there is an ambundance of ample space and distance on the Rocky Creek ranch property to ensure that if they were to have a range that the safety of their neighbors would not be an issue. Being a Combat Veteran I know that determining that 'bullets are flying over my head' is in reality very hard to determine and very subjective to location, terrain, weather conditions as that it is actually only a sound and if they were to hear that without visual confirmation determination of the source is next to impossible. I believe that anything which could increase revenue and tourism in this area is a benefit to the community as a whole. This seems to be an attempt to stop free enterprise by a neighbor for who knows why though one could think it is because they don't have their hands in the pot...
