SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. -- Lightning could have been the cause of a brushfire over the weekend.
Crews from four different agencies respond to an area at Myakka State Forest that went up in flames. The 78 acre fire has been fully contained.
Sarasota County, Englewood and Venice fire crews, along with the U.S. Forest Service, all worked to put out the blaze.
Forest Service officials are investigating how it all started.
