BRADENTON, Fla. -- An administrative law judge has recommended that Robert Gagnon should not be fired because of his involvement in the Rod Frazier scandal.
Gagnon is a former assistant superintendent of the Manatee County School District, and also once served as assistant superintendent at Manatee High School.
Earlier this month, Gagnon was acquitted on the charge of failure to report child abuse in connection to the Frazier scandal.
The Manatee County School District responded saying: "We are in receipt of the decision of the Administrative Law Judge and we are in the process of reviewing it to determine what further course of action should be taken on behalf of the school district."
Ultimately, the school board must vote on whether to accept the judge's decision.
