Governor Scott to visit Sarasota to push small business ownership

SARASOTA, FL-  Governor Rick Scott is making a stop in Sarasota on Thursday. 

Scott will be in the area as part of a two week statewide push to help small business owners.  He is visiting "Marine Concepts" on Whitfield Avenue, to highlight new policies that promote job creation.

The Governor was in Charlotte County Wednesday, where he visited another small business that has doubled its staff since opening.

ABC 7's Bobeth Yates will be at Thursday's event and will have a report tonight on ABC 7 News at 5 & 6.
