PORT CHARLOTTE, FL-Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking for a brightly painted flatbed wrecker that was taken from a local towing business over this past weekend.

The owner of Clune’s Auto Body Inc., located at 23415 Janice Avenue in Charlotte Harbor, reported that when he arrived at work on Monday February 3, he discovered that his 2007 Ford F650 flatbed wrecker was not where it should have been. The truck had been secured at the business on Friday, January 31.

The vehicle has brightly colored flames painted on the hood and front fenders that fade into blue and black toward the doors. The business name information is stenciled on both doors and it has a Florida tag D6149B. The truck has been entered as a stolen vehicle.

Anyone with information on the theft or current location of the truck is asked to please contact the Sheriff’s Office at (941) 639-2101, or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
