First Alert Weather: We are monitoring the tropics for possible development

SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) - A weak disturbance south of Bermuda is showing some signs of organization at this time as it moves SW.

The system has a 30% chance of developing into a named storm over the next 5 days.  It is expected to eventually move north away from Florida.

It should not have much of an impact on the U.S. as it will eventually merge with a frontal system and get pushed out over the open waters of the Atlantic.
