Local rain showers have transitioned over I-10, to our north, between Tallahassee and Jacksonville into snow and freezing rain. Spotter reports to our north have indicated a glaze of ice in many locations.
Our winds will build out of the north and some of the snow producing cold air will move into the area later in the day and overnight. Therefore a Freeze Watch for Hardee and a Wind Chill Advisory for everyone has been issued for tonight into tomorrow morning.
We are in for three cold nights on the Suncoast with Thursday night and Friday night being the two coldest. Daytime highs will be in the 50's but overnight lows will be in the 30's. Temperatures will start to warm over the weekend.
Next week we will see additional fronts move past but none will make us as cold as we have been this week.
