FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Foggy start to Thursday and cold front late Friday

Sarasota, FL (WWSB) - Once again a foggy start to the day.  Conditions are favorable for dense fog across much of the W. Coast of Florida.

The fog will burn off in the late morning and we should see partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

More fog Thursday night into Friday morning and then a cold front moves in late Friday.  This front will bring a chance for some rainfall mainly late Friday into the early Sat. morning.

Once the front moves through expect clearing skies and much cooler air to follow through the weekend and beyond.

Lows over the next 2 nights will be in the low 60s. After the front moves through those lows will be in the low to mid 40s!

So get the jackets and sweaters ready once again for a taste of winter next week.
