SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) - Very dry air is moving into the Suncoast on a breezy northwest wind. The elevated wind will be with us all day and effects will be felt into the evening.
Wind-Water related hazards today include rip currents, high surf and dangerous wave action on open waters. Therefore, through the day there will be a Rip Current Advisory, a High Surf Advisory and a Small Craft Advisory up for area waters.
Dry air moving in will keep the skies rain free this work week, despite a mid week cool front. For the first couple of days the nighttime temperatures will fall into the 50's and highs will only be in the upper 60's to low 70's today and mid 70's tomorrow. Winds will relax and shift mid week and temperatures will warm but humidity should remain low.
The next real chance for rain will not come till the weekend.
