First Alert Forecast: Cold air on the way

  • 0

Low clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies today and keep the afternoon comfortable and rain free. Temperatures will climb from the morning 60's into the low 70's by afternoon with rain free skies.

For the weekend we can expect mostly sunny skies and rain free weather with cool highs in the near 70 degree range. For New Year’s Eve we will see the clouds roll in as a low develops in the Gulf waters.

The exact track of the low will impact how much rain we get and how much cold air will move south. There is still a great deal of uncertainty in the amount of rain we get on Monday and how cold it will get mid-week next week. A best forecast right now brings lows in the upper 40's or low 50's on Wednesday and Thursday. Highs could be held to the mid 50's to low 60's. Stay tuned.
