SARASOTA, FL - The Obama Administration has said the ability of the Hispanic community to thrive is vital to our nations future.

692,000 Hispanic students make up 24% of all elementary and high school students in Florida.

Here on the Suncoast, there is a similar scene and sometimes a language barrier. For obvious reasons, that can pose a challenge for our local educators.

What is being done well, where is there room for improvement?  ABC 7 Reporter Bobeth Yates is on the story.
