SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- It's a performance of a lifetime for former homeless piano man Donald Gould.

He'll be in the national spotlight on Monday night in California. According to the official website of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers, Gould -- the musical talent who gained national fame when video of him playing piano in Downtown Sarasota went viral -- will be performing the National Anthem prior to the 49ers home game against the Minnesota Vikings. Since that video went viral, and ABC 7 did multiple stories about him, his life has turned around quite a bit.

Here's more from 49ers.com:

"The National Anthem will be performed by Donald (Boone) Gould, who became an overnight viral sensation with more than 15 million views of the Youtube video featuring him playing a cover version of STYX "Come Sail Away." After his discovery the former Marine, began the incredible journey to change his life after being homeless, while also giving back to community through his music."

The game begins at 10:15 p.m. on ESPN, though it's not common for the National Anthem to be broadcast on television.

Any pictures or video we're able to obtain of Gould performing, we'll be sure to post here.
