CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL-Economic Crimes detectives need assistance in identifying a man who fraudulently used a credit card at a local gas station last month.

A Lee County man reported that he learned that his credit card had been used on Monday May 5, 2014, at the Pilot Station, located at 26505 N. Jones Loop Road in Punta Gorda, to purchase $200.00 worth of diesel fuel.  The victim told deputies that he did not authorize the purchase.

Economic Crimes detectives obtained the attached photos from the Pilot Station showing a white male wearing a black T-shirt, orange shorts and a cowboy hat conducting the transaction with the victim’s credit card information.

Anyone with information on the identity of the man is asked to please call the Sheriff’s Office at (941) 639-2101 (ask for Economic Crimes), or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
