PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (WWSB) - The mother of a Port Charlotte High School student is arrested after deputies say she ran over her son at school, and didn’t have a license to drive.
Nadine Williams, 39, is facing charges of giving law enforcement officers a false ID, driving while license is suspended, and not having insurance.
The incident happened Wednesday morning at the school in the parent drop off lane.
According to reports, Williams told deputies, " I know I'm suspended, but I have to drive. It's not like I'm murdering or raping."
Williams 15-year-old son was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
