SARASOTA, Fla. -- Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent is reminding absentee voters that they can track their ballot online.
Voters who request an absentee ballot for the August 26 Primary Election can track their ballot from the time they request it until the voted ballot has reached the supervisor of elections office.
The online tracking system also allows voters to check registration status, party affiliation and local polling place information, and to request an absentee ballot. Voters can go to the supervisor of elections (SOE) website at www.SarasotaVotes.com.
For absentee ballots to be counted the voter certificate on the return envelope must be signed by the voter and the completed ballot must be received in the supervisor of elections office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, August 26.
