Today was Super Sunday for two Venice churches. The Bridge Church and Crossroads Community Church decided to combine their two congregations into one. Today was the first day for The Bridge Church which meets in the Venice High School Auditorium. Both churches were debt free and felt like they could better serve the community by joining forces. TheBridge Church Lead Pastor, Matt Day, said what was interesting here is to see churches coming together. Day said most of the time you see churches either bickering, dividing or having quarrels, but it is rare to see two healthy churches come together. Especially when the churches come together to say “We can do more for the Kingdom of God together than we can apart”. About 550 people attended the New Bridge Church Sunday for opening day.
