BRANDENTON, FL- The Bradenton Police Department is asking for the publics help in identifying a possible counterfeit check casher.

On July 26th, 2014, a Hispanic male entered the Publix located at 5001 S.R. 64 E. at approximately 9:00 pm.  The hispanic male tried to cash a counterfeit check in the amount of $491.00.  The male presented a driver license that matched the name on the check, however, the suspect cashing the check was clearly not the same person on the driver’s license.  When Publix refused to cash the check, the suspect left the store with the check and fled the area in a white Toyota Tundra.
