Bradenton man robbed and hit over the head

BRADENTON, FL- A Bradenton man is recovering after being hit over the head and robbed over the weekend.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, 32 year old Justin Rodriguez was moving his stuff out of his apartment at the 2300 block of University Parkway.  He called a friend to pick up his girlfriends dog.  When he arrived at the friends home, as he entered, he was struck on the back of the head.

the suspects then allegedly stole Rodriguez's wallet.  Deputies were called and Rodriguez had to be taken to an area hospital for treatment. Three people were arrested in connection to the armed robbery.  They are Kimberly Winning, Annette Byrd and another man.
