BRADENTON, FL (WWSB) - Before the passport execution fee increases, Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court will host a special passport application event.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 24 form 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m at the Manatee County Historic Courthouse.
The Manatee County Clerk of the Court staff will assist customers throughout the passport application process and can take passport photos onsite for an additional $16.05 fee.
“We encourage customers who are unable to apply during regular business hours to take advantage of these special Saturday hours,” said Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Angel Colonneso, in a press release.
Effective April 2, 2018, the U.S. Department of State is increasing the passport execution fee from $25 to $35.
