MANASOTA KEY, Fla. -- Months after being ordered to replant mangroves that were destroyed on his property, neighbors say a Manasota Key man has been slow to comply.

Back in February, county officials say Paul Maurer filled in a coastal wetland and destroyed a rare mangrove swamp on his property.  He was given a July deadline to bring the property up to code and replant mangroves.

ABC 7's Josh Taylor has been following this story and is looking into the allegations.  He will have a full report tonight on ABC 7 News.
