NORTH PORT, Fla, - With Russian soldiers on the ground tensions are rising in Ukraine. The thousands with Ukrainian descent in our area are watching closely and leaning on each other.

Monday you could find volunteers making bread at the St. Andrews Ukrainian Religious and Cultural center. Many there are worried about what could happen to family and friends still in Ukraine. Thankful though they have each other to talk to about it.

Coming up tonight on ABC 7 at 5, how the community is coming together during the difficult time and what they think of the Russian invasion.
