VENICE, FL - More than $6 million worth of renovations to a water treatment plant in Venice is being unveiled Tuesday.

It promises to bring the city's drinking water "to a new standard" according to a press release.

As the Suncoast sees continued growth, infrastructure projects like this will likely become even more important for our society.

7 South Newsroom Reporter Josh Taylor is covering the story.
