VENICE, FL - It may not be as visible as it is in other parts of Sarasota County, but Venice has it's share of homeless residents.

Dr. Robert Marbut, a homelessness expert, will take part in a community conversation there, with the aim of coming up with solutions to what many consider a growing problem.

He will meet with residents at the Venice Community Center from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday.

7 South Newsroom Reporter Josh Taylor will be there, and bring you more about what the community is saying.
