Millions can't start their day without it. But how's this for a wake-up call: heavy coffee consumption could increase your risk of death, according to a new study at least.
Researchers studied the health habits of more than 43,000 adults for roughly 17 years. Among men, those who drank more than four cups of coffee a day -- whether it was regular or decaf -- had a 20% higher risk of death from any cause.
For those younger than 55, the risk was even higher; this time in both women and men.
