Help for suncoast children with ADHD

  • 0

Florida Clinical Research Center, is 1 of only a handful of sites in the nation capable of performing a laboratory classroom study to evaluate medications to treat ADHD in children 6 to 12 years of age.

The current study creates a classroom environment allowing researchers to evaluate the duration of the effectiveness in real time of medication throughout the day simulating a child’s classroom experience.

FLCRC is currently seeking children to participate, whether they have been diagnosed or treated for ADHD or need a free evaluation, as insurance is not necessary.

Florida Clinical Research Center offers free evaluations, education, and treatment through clinical research that emphasizes individualized patient attention and thorough care. Our clinical studies offer hope to patients by providing new options and continuity of care at no cost. By partnering with the community, we help develop new treatments which promise improved efficacy and safety over those currently available. Our inpatient and outpatient facilities are staffed by an experienced and professional team of board certified physicians, psychologists, nurses, masters-level clinicians, research coordinators, and medical assistants.
