He blood pressure monitoring kiosks you might find in a drug store, food and drug administration researchers have a warning for you.

They say “Cuff size matters” and you could get an inaccurate reading if it does not fit properly.

FDA researchers say most blood pressure monitoring kiosks have one fixed-size cuff.

If the cuff does not fit your arm properly, your reading won’t be accurate.

knowing the circumference of your upper arm can help, but positioning the cuff correctly is also critical.

Researchers say this is why you should not overreact to one reading from a kiosk.
