BRADENTON, Fla. - State College of Florida's Bradenton campus students, staff and faculty participated in their annual D.U.I. awareness activities on Tuesday, in the middle of Alcohol Awareness Month.
Attendees were able to experience the simulated effects of impairment, like driving a golf cart while wearing "fatal vision" goggles.
They also learned the sobering facts and consequences of drinking and driving.
Officials from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office were on hand to assist people wanting to participate in the tests.
The event was sponsored by SCF Department of Public Safety and Student Life.
