A new version of coke called Coca-Cola Plus is adding fiber to artificially-sweetened soda.
According to Coca-Cola, one Coke Plus a day, which is currently available only in Japan, can help "suppress fat absorption" and "moderate the levels of triglycerides in the blood."
But some aren't buying it as a health drink. Dietitians say the smartest way to add more fiber to your diet is to up your intake of whole foods that are fiber-rich and also chock-full of other important nutrients.
Those include beans, avocados, quinoa, broccoli and oranges, just to name a few.
