SARASOTA, FL - The group Trinity Without Borders is apparently looking to go ahead with a plan to help the city's homeless population.

That plan calls for a tent city on four acres of vacant land just north of 10th Street.

What is not clear is if city leaders will allow the plan to go forward, what nearby business owners think, and if the plan fits into the one being crafted by the city/county hired homeless consultant, Dr. Robert Marbut.

ABC 7 Reporter Trevor Shriley is on the story.
