SARASOTA COUNTY - If you had any doubt that gator hunting season is now in full swing, check out this picture of a giant 12 1/2 foot gator that was caught in the Myakka River on Monday night by two Suncoast residents.

The gator is currently at the taxidermist, and a portion of it -- including the head -- will be put on display at Snook Haven restaurant in Venice.

ABC 7's Max Winitz has the full story HERE.
