Flood insurance no action

The Flood Insurance Reform Act, did away with the government insurance subsidy that means homeowners could see a drastic increase in their flood insurance policies.  In some cases those increase could be as much as 1000 %. 

Law makers were set to vote to delay substantial rate hike but the bill was pulled from the House floor and no action will be taken before the new year.  The move came after a similar bill was blocked in the U.S. Senate.  Coming up on ABC 7 at 6pm we show you home move will impact Suncoast residents.
