'We The Kings' are kings of the Suncoast

PALMETTO, FL (WWBS) - The rock band, 'We The Kings' is home for the holidays and will put on on a free show on Wednesday, Dec. 27 in Palmetto. 

'We The Kings' is a rock band consisting of Suncoast residents who inherited their band name from attending Martha B. King Middle School in Bradenton. 

Travis Clark, Hunter Thomsen, Danny Duncan, Charles Trippy, and Coley O'Toole are the band members that will perform on Wednesday night. 

They will perform at the venue 10th Street Live in Palmetto starting at 7:30 p.m. The show will kick-off with special guests Brightside and Suncoast native, Sam Woolf. This will be the band's 10th annual holiday show that they perform to giveback to the community. 

The band's first album released in 2007 which included their platinum single "Check Yes Juliet". The band had two other singles make it on the top 40 list and collaborated with singer, Demi Lovato. The band was awarded 'Most Innovative Music Video of the Year' in 2011 at the MTV Video Music Awards.
