Sam Woolf ready to head into the studio to record album

SARASOTA, Fla. -- American Idol star and Suncoast resident Sam Woolf has a busy fall ahead of him.

Woolf, who recently graduated from Braden River High School, will wrap up his "American Idol Live" tour in Washington this Saturday.

Once that's done, Sam will reportedly begin working on a new album with his Grammy award winning producer cousin, Danny Blume.  American Idol did not sign the fifth place finisher to a contract, so he was able to work with whom he chose.

Blume has worked with everyone from Iggy Pop to Jewel.

Woolf will return to the Suncoast on September 27th to perform at a concert at IMG Acadamy.  The concert will raise money for a charity music scholarship fund he set up.

My name is Scott.
